Privacy
How we handle your data.
We collect as little as the site needs, we do not sell it, and nothing about you is used for advertising. This page says what is collected, why, and what you can ask of us.
Who we are
Studio Sphere BV, De Bazelstraat 2, 7425 BV Deventer, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under 94769907, is responsible for the personal data processed on this website. For anything on this page, write to hello@studiosphere.co.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. When a page loads, Vercel’s servers process your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and technical details of your browser, to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We do not use this to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The fonts and images are served from this site. No third party font service is called.
Statistics
We count page views and a few actions, like opening the booking flow, with Vercel Web Analytics and with visitors.now. Both set no cookies and store nothing on your device, and they count visits without identifying you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only if you say yes to cookies, in the footer or in the cookie settings, visitors.now also keeps a cookie in your browser so that a return visit is counted as the same visitor. It is not set before your yes, and we stop using it as soon as you withdraw it. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Booking a call
To book an intro call we ask for your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your company, your website and answers about your project. Your name, email address, time zone and your answers go to SystemOS, the studio management software we build and run, which holds our calendar, to create the booking, send you the invitation and keep your answers with it. We use them to prepare for the call and to reply to you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
While you fill in the form, your answers are kept in your browser so you can pick up where you left off. They are not sent anywhere until you book.
Writing to us
When you email us, we use your address and your message to answer you and, if a project follows, to work with you. The legal basis is the contract or the steps before it, or our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
In your browser
A few settings are kept in your browser’s local storage, because the site needs them to work the way you left it. Whether you have seen the intro, whether sound is on, your cookie choice, your progress in the booking form, and which version of a page you were shown, so it stays the same on your next visit. The name of that version is counted with the statistics above. None of this identifies you, and you can clear it in your browser at any time.
Where it goes
Your data is processed by us and by the providers named above, Vercel Inc. for hosting and statistics, SystemOS for bookings and intake answers, and visitors.now for statistics. They process it on our behalf and under our instructions. Some of them are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell personal data, and we make no automated decisions about you.
How long
Server logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for security. Booking details and emails are kept as long as the conversation, and any project that follows, needs them, and then deleted, unless Dutch law requires us to keep records for longer, as it does for invoices. Your cookie choice is kept until you change it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable form. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything done before. Write to hello@studiosphere.co and one of us answers.
You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
When the site starts doing something new with personal data, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves with it.
